How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The Midnight Gem is located right off the 380 Swisher exit, within miles of the Eastern Iowa Airport. The ceremony and reception will be located here. Please input the address into your GPS and it will direct you right to the venue. Addresss: 2613 Ders Dr NW, Swisher, IA 52338

Where should I park?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking at the venue! You may leave your vehicle overnight at the venue, but you will be required to pick it up the following morning.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, due to many factors including limited space, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult only event with the exception of our nieces & nephews. We encourage you to use this evening as a "date night" for yourself! We appreciate your understanding.

Can I bring a date / +1?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. We are requesting that you arrive and find your seats by 4:15pm. If the ceremony has started upon your arrival, you will be asked to wait at the front of the venue for the ceremony to conclude.

what do i wear?

Answer

We'd love for our friends & family to get fancy with us for our special day. The dress code is formal attire. We encourage all guest to wear BLACK formal attire. (No jeans please) We promise once you arrive at the venue for our big day you'll see this idea come to life! If you have any questions regarding what to wear, please don't hesitate to reach out to Dustin or Dina!

When do i Rsvp by?

Answer

RSVP's are due by May 1st, 2025. If you do not RSVP by May 1st, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors & cannot accept late RSVP's.
