Question

I will be in town the night before the wedding - is there anything to do in the area?

Answer

Yes! Please visit the "things to do" page for some suggestions. The family and bridal party will be gathering at P.J. Whelihan's in Newtown Square after the rehearsal dinner (around 8:30pm) for drinks, and we would love for you to join us! See the "schedule" page for more details and location of P.J's.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal: Tuxes and gowns are encouraged, as are suits and cocktail dresses. Please note due to the timeline of our ceremony and reception, we encourage all guests to arrive at the ceremony in their wedding attire for the night.

Question

Is there a coat check at the venue?

Answer

Yes. There is a coat check directly to the right when you enter the venue.

Question

Will there be transportation provided to the ceremony for hotel guests?

Answer

Yes. Transportation from the Hilton to the church will be provided for hotel guests. Shuttles will board from 3 - 3:15pm on January 3rd. Please note this is also the hotel check in time, so we encourage all guests taking advantage of the shuttle to arrive at the hotel "wedding ready" just in case you are not able to get early check in. Following the ceremony, these buses will also shuttle guests from the church directly to the venue for the start of cocktail hour.

Question

Is there parking at the church?

Answer

Yes. There is ample parking at the church. There are lots directly adjacent to the church and directly across the street from the church.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes. Free valet will be provided at the venue for guests that drive.

Question

Will there be transportation provided to the hotel at the end of the night?

Answer

Yes. Shuttles will be running a few times per hour from the end of the reception (10:30pm) to the end of the after party (12:30am).

Question

Do you have any tips or advice for guests who choose to drive?

Answer

Please note if you are driving to the ceremony, there is a free parking lot directly next to the church. If you are driving to the venue, there will be free valet parking at Ellis Preserve! If you are a hotel guest driving to the ceremony, you will have time to drop your car off at the hotel and check in before cocktail hour begins at 5:30pm. There is a complimentary Hilton shuttle that can take you over to the venue. Uber/Lyft is of course a very convenient and cheap option! The venue is approximately a 3 minute drive from the hotel.
