Travel Note

Transportation Info

NYC has a ton of different options for getting around the city. Those include the NYC public bus, the subway, a taxi, an UBER/Lyft or a private town car. If interested in a private vehicle, we highly recommend a company called Dial 7. They're usually available for pickup within a 15 minute notice, and has a flat fee to airports when there's traffic (cab fares fluctuate). Their number is (212) 777-7777 Linked below is their website

Train

Getting There Without Flying

A great option for getting into the city without flying is taking Amtrak, NJ Transit, Metro North or LIRR. Amtrak is the major train system that crosses long distance, and is a easy way to get from Washington DC, Union Station to NY Penn Station. NJ Transit, Metro North, and LIRR are great if you decide to drive to the outskirts of the city, park and leave your car or if you're coming from a surrounding area. If you plan on driving into NYC please be aware that parking in the city is very costly
