We like to say that life has a funny way of bringing the right people together at the right time. From the moment we connected, conversation flowed so easily it felt like we’d known each other forever. What started out as something small quickly turned into late-night laughs, shared adventures, and the feeling that we’d found our person. Over time, our relationship grew into something even bigger — a partnership filled with love, humor, and plenty of family chaos (the best kind).
Derek isn’t one for big, flashy moments, but he knew how to make this one count. At home, in the comfort of our everyday life, he asked Dina to marry him. Of course, Nova had plenty to say about it too — offering her own little commentary and insisting she should have her own ring as well. It was perfectly “us”: simple, sweet, full of laughter, and overflowing with love.
