Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Formal attire. If needed, copy and paste the link below into your browser to check out this blog post for more info on what this entails: https://www.theknot.com/content/wedding-guest-attire-cheat-sheet#formal-attire-

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at the Pinecrest Events Center in Palmer Lake, CO. The ceremony will be held indoors in the chapel and the cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors in the event center (mere steps apart). Guests will have access to an outdoor patio during cocktail hour and reception.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue offers free parking on-site in designated lots only, one lot is unpaved. There is a small parking lot behind the chapel that will be reserved for our eldest family members during the ceremony. All vehicles parked behind the chapel must be brought down to the event center after the ceremony, before the reception begins. Overnight parking, or street parking along Pinecrest Way is not permitted. Violators will be towed. If you plan to indulge in our bar during cocktail hour and the reception, please plan your ride home in advance!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow ample time for parking, finding a seat in the chapel, and mingling with the other guests.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say our I Do's. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us so please allow them to do their best work. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like. Be sure to use our hashtag #LoveAt7297 to share your photos on Facebook and Instagram!

Question

Am I going to have fun?

Answer

DUH!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Right now there is not. We will be serving beer and wine and want everyone to get home safely, so please plan to carpool if you can, or use a rideshare service like Uber and Lyft.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please submit your RSVPs through our website no later than December 3, 2022. We have a strict deadline with our vendors, if we do not receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot promise that we’ll still be able to accommodate you!

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible by submitting your RSVP on our website as "not attending", no later than December 3, so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a "date night" for yourself!
