Based in Portland, ME: Mary’s older, smaller sister, and potentially the only person that can stand to be around Mary for *almost* as long as Dillon can. This vegan(ish), cold weather loving, barre-tender is about as different from Mary as can be, but somehow that makes for a perfect match.

Based in Columbia, SC: Dillon’s longtime best friend, baseball teammate, college roommate, post-college roommate, and all around “best man.” Cullen also conveniently doubles as Mary’s best guy friend and her stand in brother for when “other Cullen” isn’t around.

Sara Rothell

Based in Columbia, SC: Sara has known Dillon since elementary school. Given that Seth and Dillon lived together the girls quickly became fast friends. First bonding over mimosas in lawn chairs while the boys did lawn work, Sara taught Mary about being a Gamecock fan and in turn, Mary provides the guacamole for all the games.

Seth Rothell

Based in Columbia, SC: Seth is typically the one telling Dillon he’s about to do something really stupid. Spoiler alert: he’s usually right. He’s also a massive Gamecock fan, barbeque master, and drinker of all things Crown.

Jessica Clair

Based in New York, NY: Jessica is married to Mary’s brother Andrew, and the only negative of that relationship is that Andrew only met Jessica during Mary’s senior year of college, so Jessica had limited time to show Mary all the best restaurants in NYC. Resident NYC aficionado, introducer of the Aperol Spritz, and tequila queen, Jessica joined the Clair family seamlessly.

Andrew Clair

Based in New York, NY: Mary’s older older brother, and arguably the most discriminating member of the Clair family, Andrew has shockingly provided his blessing to Dillon. He hates losing almost as much as Mary does, so naturally Dillon throws every game they play against each other.

Kelsey Clair

Bridesmaid

Based in Charlotte, NC: Kelsey and Mary first met when Cullen was madly in love with an uninterested Kelsey. Since then, Kelsey has succumbed to the greatness (read: persistence) of Cullen, made a lifelong commitment to the Clairs, and become Mary’s go-to girl for all things fashion, fun, and dog.

Cullen Clair

Based in Charlotte, NC: Mary’s younger older brother, and Dillon’s unofficial bookie. Mary is still angry that Cullen is a groomsman and not a bridesman, but they’re working through it. Dillon is still angry that Cullen gave him the wrong specs on the last Panthers game – they have yet to work through it.

Leslie Smith

Bridesmaid

Based in Los Angeles, CA: Leslie is Mary’s college soccer teammate and roommate (bless her heart), and the only claim to fame that Mary will ever hope to have. Having grown up less than 15 minutes from each other in Cleveland, it took moving to New York City for the two to connect, but not even living on opposite sides of the country will tear them apart nowadays.

Garrett Gaines

Based in Columbia, SC: Dillon’s younger, cooler brother. Dillon spent most of his childhood begging his brother to play outside with him, and most of his adult life begging his brother to come drink with him. Making Garrett a groomsman was the only sure-fire way to guarantee Garrett would show up for the wedding.

Crystal O'Neal

Bridesmaid

Based in Greenville, SC: Crystal met Mary & Dillon at the gym, but it was an initial trip to Hilton Head Island with the friend group that sealed Crystal’s place in Mary’s heart. Whether it’s grabbing a coffee, going on a run, having a drink, or just sitting next to each other reading a book, Crystal’s presence makes the day a little better for all involved, including George.

Brandon Keatley

Groomsman

Based in Columbia, SC: Describing Brandon and Dillon’s relationship is probably the only appropriate time the term “swollmate” should ever be used. No wait - that should still never be used. Co-owner of the gym where Dillon and Mary first met, Brandon served as friend and mentor (and boss) to Dillon, until Mary rudely dragged him off to Florida.

Melissa Britt

Based in Columbia, SC: Mary is still working to this day to transition Mel from “Dillon’s friend” to “Mary’s friend.” Melissa has managed to survive living with both Dillon and Mary, separately, but equally as impressive. A reformed Panthers fan and avid Bud Light drinker, Mel’s allegiance is still up in the air.

Reid Baird

Based in Columbia, SC: Reid is the one standing next to Dillon, encouraging him to do something really stupid. An avid hunter, and master house-builder, Reid is typically the last man standing with Dillon at 4AM, both trying to soak up the most of a long weekend.

Joshua Cowgill

Groomsman

Based in Portland, ME: Joshua is Mary’s brother (in-law) and has been a part of the family since long before Dillon met Mary. The boys bonded over their love of a good fire, a strong bourbon, and putting up with the Clair family for the sake of love.

Stephen Dowling

Groomsman

Based in Columbia, SC: Dillon and Stephen grew up playing sports together, and although they started out as rivals initially, once the pair wound up on the same team, they were fast friends. They've maintained that friendship over 20 years, during which the Dowlings have served as Dillon's second home.

George Jasper Clair

Based wherever Mary & Dillon are: George has been with the couple for almost as long as they have been together. Stemming from Mary's days as a service dog trainer, George was lucky enough to fail out of the program and wind up with Mary & Dillon - and they've been undoing his training ever since.

Stuart Sands

Based in New Orleans, LA: The home-schooled friend who met up with the group in high school, Stuart turned out to be way more normal than anyone expected. First bonding over baseball, the two maintained their original “battery mates” (look it up) relationship long afterwards.
