Our story began at Chowan University. We built a friendship that laid the foundation for something deeper. From late-night conversations over kettle corn to the occasional call for help (like when Dillon’s car broke down and he used Instagram to call Erica for a rescue), our connection continued to grow. It wasn’t until the final months of college that we realized God had been gently guiding our hearts toward each other. Not long after we started dating, we found ourselves in a long-distance relationship. With miles, time zones, and busy schedules between us, we learned to nurture our love through faith, commitment, and lots of FaceTime. We made countless road trips just to spend a weekend together, played endless rounds of online UNO, and even delivered Doordash and Uber Eats orders when we were in the same city—turning deliveries into mini date nights while saving for the future. Through every challenge, we were reminded that love is patient, purposeful, and worth every step of the journey. We believe that God illuminated our path to one another and that this next chapter is part of His greater plan for our lives. We’re humbled by His faithfulness and overjoyed to celebrate this moment with you.
