The first words Sam ever heard describing her future husband were “Grumpy Steve”. However almost two months later when she met “Grumpy Steve” at her work in the hospital, he was very sweet and flirty with her. They hung out as friends for awhile. Always stealing glances or flirty words, but not until Steven’s last day as a student at her hospital did he ask her on their first date. They went to an arcade and rode go carts; hinting towards their future adventurous and playful relationship ahead. He left for Florida while she still lived in Georgia and they endured a difficult 6 months of long distance. Finally she moved to Florida and they pursued their relationship in a more serious way, all along knowing that this was more than they could have ever imagined from the beginning.

Steven knew that surprising Sam would be near impossible. Alluding that he would be proposing on their 2 week trip to Italy, he suggested they take a nice walk in the park with their dog Bea. In a beautiful opening was a set up picnic including Chick-Fil-A and the ring sitting on top. He also set up some friends to take pictures of the surprise. It was a great time celebrating and taking pictures in newly engaged bliss.
