Welcome to our Forever + Always!

Dillon would love to say that I had absolutely no idea that he was purposing but of course that isn’t true. I could only hope that is what he was going to do this trip but I never thought that is where he would have done it. Hiking and waterfalls are so special to me, it was my dads safe place. Ever since he passed I love being around any waterfall. I was not at all dressed to be proposed to and neither was Dillon. He was even wearing a Fanny pack, why ? Oh yeah to hide the ring. We hiked .4 miles straight down to a waterfall in the national park Fall Creek Falls. He convinced me to climb onto this huge rock right in front of the falls and as I was taking a video he got down on one knee. His mom was taking photos, while I was just bawling. He says he has a speech planned but forgot the whole thing because of how nervous he was. I wouldn’t have known either way because all I heard was myself crying and in my head internally screaming. He couldn’t have done it a better way and after him and his family had booked us a photo shoot with a local photographer. I loved everything about that day and he couldn’t of made me feel more special!! 🤍

He broke his leg. Well now that I have your attention it is true. We meet a couple days prior but nothing serious just a couple hi’s and byes. Dillon says he knew he wanted me the moment he saw me for the first time and I of course thought he was cute but didn’t have a chance. I was the athletic trainer’s assistant and he was a senior on the football team…everything my dad told me to stay away from. The day of the game he flirted with me getting into the bus and while he was warming up for the game. I would follow him around trying to get his attention. Finally the game started. Dillon went on the field and a guy tackled him right into his shin. Broke it. I ran out onto the field half because it was my job and half because I was worried. As we were treating him and loading him into the ambulance he was flirting and laughing the whole time. After he got carried off I asked everyone on the team for his Snapchat, I added him and waited for him to add me back. Finally he did and well here we are :). I don’t know how I allowed him to keep me though our first date…he brought his dad🤍
