We’re getting married!

Dearest friends and family, It's with very heavy hearts that we have decided to severely adjust our wedding plans for this fall. We are now under three months out from our September wedding date. At this point, we have chosen to forgo the big wedding we had originally planned. We just don't feel it would be right to put all of our favorite people in the tough position of choosing whether or not to put themselves and their families at risk for our sake. Who knows what will happen by September, but we are not optimistic that the localized outbreak will markedly improve by then based on the best statistics available to us at this time. We will instead go forward with a very personal ceremony later this summer, but please know that we do intend to have a postponed reception at some point next year, so long as a vaccine does become widely available. We will reach back out once that comes to light with a separate invitation to you all. Since we will not be able to hold a traditional wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we realize that many of you are interested in alternative means to leave a gift. We have set up an online registry with a few different gift options, but mostly to help us get out of our van and into a permanent home at some point in the future as we embark on this new phase of life together.
