On Christmas Eve, it’s a Cady family tradition that one of the men dresses up as Santa. All the children gather around the Christmas tree waiting for Santa to arrive. This past Christmas, it was Dillon’s turn to be Santa. He passed out all the gifts and took pictures with the family. When Santa is getting ready to leave the whole family sings Jingle Bells. In the middle of the song, Dillon stopped and said "wait, I have one last gift.” That's when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was in complete shock, and of course I said YES! The rest of the night was filled with hugs, smiles and lots of FaceTimes! PS. Yes, he was in the Santa suit! It couldn't have been any more perfect!!
