Flight
Oakland airport is closer to the welcome party, hotel, and wedding venue. SFO is across the bay and certain times of day may have significant traffic. Public transit it an option from SFO to the east bay (via BART), but you will likely need a ride from the airport to the other locations. NOTE that parking at the hotel is ~$45/night but there is free parking across the street.
