Dillon and I met when we were 14 and 16 at our mutual friends grandparents party. Dillon came to the party to hang out with another girl there, but he saw me and knew he had to hang out me with me instead. We started our relationship as a friendship and as I only wanted to be friends Dillon wanted more but at 14 years old, I was scared of boys. Dillon took me to my first country concert to see Florida Georgia Line and that’s where we had our first kiss! Months later he came over to my house to meet my parents and hang out and instantly my parents feel in love with him. We continued to stay friends until one day we did reconnect again but as something more when I was 16 and Dillon was 18. We spent the beginning of our summer hanging out and Dillon did take me to my first mud event at Bamboo and that’s when I became a country girl. Eventually it didn’t work out between us yet again and so we went our separate ways for two years. But we both knew deep down that we were meant to be together. January of 2021, we reconnected because we knew we wanted to be with one another and now here we are 4 years later engaged and getting married!!!! It is true what they say about two souls being meant for each other, that it will all work out in the end and it really did for Dillon and I!!!!
