It's been our greatest surprise to live out how much can change in just one short year! We truly believe God has brought us together and written our love story and we are beyond thankful! In January of 2025, our mutual friend, Jen, spoke to each of us separately about the idea of being setup for a date. Both of us were open to the idea and given each other's numbers. Soon after, we had an easy going phone call that lasted over an hour. We both knew this natural connection was worth going on a date. With busy schedules, it took us a few weeks to go out, but we had our first date at the European inspired cocktail bar, Amari. Dillon says as soon as Kayla walked in, he knew this was going to be different. Kayla cautiously proceeded through the first few dates, as she does, but very quickly noticed getting to know Dillon felt effortless and there was always a sense of peace throughout the dating process. Over the next few months, our deep friendship and partnership continued to form as we both continued to pursue our relationship with God and one another. Dillon proposed at Amari on September 20, 2025. This love has been SO worth the wait! We are very excited to celebrate with you all!
