Visit Ewing Cultural Center to stroll around the gardens where Dillon proposed. Dillon and Hannah also enjoy attending the Illinois Shakespeare Festival at Ewing each summer.
Lil Beaver Brewery
Hannah and Dillon go to trivia most Tuesdays at Lil Beaver. Stop by for some beer and pub food.
The Normal Theater
Built in 1937, the Normal Theater shows independent and classic movies. We've seen a lot of movies there together. Some of our favorites have been Everything Everywhere All at Once and The Sandlot.

Our go-to bookstore. Pick up some reading material for the summer!
Red Raccoon Games
We love this boardgame store in Downtown Bloomington where you can buy a game to take home or rent one for the weekend. Some of our favorites: Seven Wonders, Hues and Cues, and Wavelength.
Anju Above
Grab dinner and signature cocktails at Anju Above in Downtown Bloomington. We love the sushi and pizza.
Waiting Room Records
Hannah's favorite record store in town. Be sure to say 'hi' to the store cat.
Downtown Bloomington Farmers' Market
Visit the Farmers' Market on Saturday between 7:30 a.m. and noon. Grab some produce ... or at least a coffee and a cinnamon roll.
Keg Grove Brewing Company
We love walking Henry on the Constitution Trail to Keg Grove for a beer. People who aren't that into beer tend to enjoy their blueberry wheat Holey Jeans served with a lemonade rim.
Underwood Park
We enjoy playing pickleball at Jersey Park, and there's a nice playground here. Jersey Park also has access to Constitution Trail, a 45-mile trail for walking, running, or biking.
Medici in Normal
Located in Uptown Normal, Medici is one of our go-to places for dinner out or Sunday brunch.
