FAQs

Our Pacific Northwest "destination" wedding in the woods.
Question

Do we need a covid test prior?

Answer

If you are not currently vaccinated then please complete a covid test 2-3 days prior to the wedding. Our top priority is to keep our loved ones safe. If you have a positive test, are feeling ill (loss of taste or smell, fever, body aches, headache, fatigue) please stay home! If you are unable to complete a covid test prior then please where a mask when unable to social distance 6ft. If you are vaccinated please consider getting a COVID test if you are higher risk of contracting the virus (recent travel, work in heavily populated areas). The bride and groom will be getting COVID test prior to the event, and they are vaccinated.

Question

Is there cell service?

Answer

This is a completely unplugged wedding event! There is little cell reception at the wedding venue and questionable WIFI. A professional photographer will be present taking photos. Please set the phones aside and fully embrace the day. Expect lots of getting to know the family, playing games, and dancing. The landline to the cabin is: 360.599.8959

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

The bride and groom don't have a registry. Your presence at the wedding is a gift in itself. Since they already started their journey together under one roof they have created quite a "TO DO" list. Their newlywed projects include fixing the roof, update flooring, remodel bathroom, and paint the interior/exterior. Cards with contributions to their newlywed success are always appreciated!

Question

Why can't I find cabins available in the area?

Answer

Unfortunately many cabins require a 2 night minimum stay... Possibly book for Friday and Saturday? Give yourself extra time to explore the area. There are many hikes and beautiful areas to check out near Mount Baker.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Cocktail hour will be from 4:30pm - 5:00pm, settle in with appetizers and cold beverages. Ceremony will start at 5:00pm - You don't want to miss the bride walking down the isle!

Question

Is it open bar?

Answer

YES! Beer and wine will be provided. And of course a champagne toast to the newlyweds! Non alcoholic beverages will also be available.

Question

What is the hashtag?

Answer

#love&wildflowers After the ceremony is over please feel free to document the evening with photos. Add #love&wildflowers to your social media post so we can look at the snapshots and relive the evening.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Parking is limited, please carpool whenever possible.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

In an effort to keep the wedding small, unfortunately, children are not invited. Take this opportunity to hire a babysitter and have a night of adult celebration!
