It all starts in 2010 at Church, when they were both in 6th grade. At the time Dillon did not know that their love story had began but Camille did. From the first time Camille saw him she told her friend Taylor that she was gonna marry him. It became an on going “joke” with Camille and her close friends. Even though Dillon and Camille never spoke. The crush lingered around. Fast forward to 2012 when Camille started helping in the church nursery, she met Amy (Dillon’s mom). Camille did not realize that it was his mom until she was in Amy’s office and saw a picture of him by her desk. Throughout that time Amy tried to get them to talk to each other because they had so much in common and thought they would be good friends. At the time Dillon and Camille were both painfully shy around each other, their faces would get red and little to no words would come out of either of their mouths. In the beginning of 2017 they started to talk and form a a connection. A little later they parted ways. Fast forward 7 years, to May of 2024, Dillon messaged Camille on her birthday while he was home which was right after is first deployment to Okinawa, Japan. He asked her if she wanted to hang out. She agreed. They got together for dinner and spent 6 hours catching up. The butterflies came back into the picture. While he was home they hung out as much as they could. They decided to start to see how things between them would go. They spent everyday that they could on FaceTime. In July of 2024 Camille flew out to Cali to see him. Where they officially started dating. From then to now they have continued to make their relationship work even through the distance. They planned to get married many months before the actual engagement. On May 15th, 2025 Dillon got down on one knee. The love that they share grows more and more each day.
