The ceremony starts at 4 pm, so please be there before that to allow time for parking, being seated, etc.
Our ceremony will be "unplugged", meaning that we are asking for personal devices to be put away during the ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer and are more than happy to share those photos with you afterwards. At the reception, however, we encourage everyone to take photos/videos and share those with us as you are able - we'll have a shared Google Photos album!
Only individuals who have been specifically invited can attend the event. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests outside of those named on the invites. Thank you so much for understanding!
Most importantly, we just want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the day—so no need to overthink it! For a garden semi-formal wedding, we're thinking florals, pastels, soft/flowy fabrics, nature-inspired colors, light-colored suits or button-ups with dress pants. Please note that the ceremony will take place on grass and much of the reception will be outside (on a patio), so consider your footwear accordingly. The average temperature on March 7 for Winter Park is mid to high 70s. Kindly avoid wearing white, cream, or champagne-colored dresses. :)
Check our travel page for hotel and other lodging recommendations.
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the Garden Villa. Both the ceremony and reception are in the same location, so no need to move your car in between. Cars can also be left there overnight if needed.
Our reception ends at 9 pm due to noise ordinances for the city of Winter Park. We may find a place to keep the party going afterwards, so stay tuned!
Yes! We will be serving appetizers during cocktail hour, and we will have a buffet during the reception. We will also have plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options.
