FAQs

The Wedding Website of Adriana Zardus and Dillon Stock
Question

Can I spend the night at Camp?

Answer

Yes! Camp has ample lodging, although lodging is humble. Each cabin sleeps about 20 people with updated bathrooms. Staying at camp will be free, and you will be right in the heart of the action (without needing to drive). If you would like more details about staying at camp, please reach out to Adriana/Dillon!

Question

Will you be providing shuttles/transportation?

Answer

Since our guests will be staying throughout the Lexington/Port Huron area, we will not have any dedicated transportation. Please drink responsibly and/or arrange for a designated driver. If anyone is in a pickle the night of the wedding, there are ample cabins with beds at camp to sleep on.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to predict Michigan weather. The wedding will be outside under tents so please be prepared for it being hot, cold, rainy, or (hopefully) perfect. Since Family Camp is on Lake Huron, the temperatures are usually about 10 degrees cooler than the Metro Detroit area.

Question

How do I get to Camp?

Answer

Camp is 5 minutes past downtown Lexington (off of Lakeshore Drive). Keep an eye out for the sign "Camp Stapleton" and then turn right. Here is the address: 3753 Lakeshore Rd, Lexington, MI 48450

Question

Is there cell service at camp?

Answer

Nope! Although town is just a few minutes away, once you get to the campground, there is little-to-no service.

Question

Are there Ubers/Lyft/Taxis in the area?

Answer

No, there are no rideshare options at camp. Please drink responsibly the night of the wedding.

Question

How many nights should I book?

Answer

Camp is about 1.5 hours outside of Detroit, so we encourage people to spend the night on Saturday, June 13th, if they are able. If you'd like to make a weekend out of it, we will be hosting a Welcome Party for those who have come up on Friday, June 12th.

Question

What's the deal with Family Camp?

Answer

We both grew up going to "Family Camp", a campground off of Lake Huron where families have been gathering one week out of the summer for 60 years. Camp was a tireless match-maker, summer after summer, inching us closer together. We are thrilled to share this meaningful place with our closest family and friends.
