Our Story "Victory Parade"

Bailey's verison

Bailey's point of view: The Seahawks blow out the Broncos 43-8 in the Superbowl that meant one thing...VICTORY PARADE! The original plan was for my brother in law (Ryan) and I to leave at the crack of dawn to get to Seattle by 10:30am. Let me paint you guys a picture...a young 23 year old Bailey coming off of my first ever "dry January" I was hyper as hell and ready to party/celebrate and it was only 5:30am! I come running down my stairs full of energy with my home made "Richard Sherman will you marry me?" sign ready to roll, as I jump into the front seat I notice the back seat is full of 3 humans I have no idea who they are (yes one of them is Dillon). Honestly I was a little embarrassed by my first impression I just made on these 3 new people, I legit was dancing and making a fool out of myself before getting into the car because I thought it was just going to be Ryan, thanks a lot Ryan. The car ride up seem to fly by but I was able to visit with my new friends Taya, Brad and Dillon, I couldn't help to notice how quiet Dillon was though. We made our way through the crowded streets of Seattle and find our way into the first bar of the day, I walk right up the bar and order us 5 shots of fireball and a red beer because it is only 10:30am in the morning. Ryan, Taya and Brad go outside for bit and leave Dillon and I alone at the bar top, Dillon NO JOKE spins himself around in the bar stool away from me and in my head I'm thinking "oh hell no, I am going to make this boy talk to me!" One thing led to another (more shots and drinks) and before you know it we are holding hands dancing in the streets of Seattle starting our love story. GO HAWKS!!!

Dillon's version

Superbowl 2014

Dillon's point of view: After the Seattle Seahawks Superbowl victory in 2014, a co-worker offered to drive to the victory parade taking place in downtown Seattle if i was interested, along with a few other friends. Without knowing prior to the trip, we met up with Ryan, who had an extra passenger in the car with him. Over the course of the drive and initial arrival to Seattle, i remained relatively quiet in anticipation of the victory parade, especially since this stranger seemed to be rather loud and obnoxious, especially with her (now) traitorous "Richard Sherman will you marry me" sign. Eventually the group made our way to a bar and began taking victory shots and having a couple beers. This seemed to have a positive effect as i started to loosen up a little bit to this girl that had ended up on the adventure with us. Finally, at one point, we find ourselves alone in the street while the rest of the group made their way into another location. It was at this point that the imminent spark took over (or perhaps alcohol?) and we hit it off. From that point on, we were pretty inseparable for the remainder of the trip. When the journey ended and we returned to our normal lives, we remained in constant contact and slowly our relationship blossomed into what it is today.
