What is a virtual wedding?

We will exchange our vows in a very intimate ceremony on the beach in Hilton Head. In addition to a photographer and videographer capturing this special moment, the entire ceremony will be livestreamed so you can join us as we exchange our vows in real-time!

Why a virtual wedding?
Answer
When we originally started talking about our wedding, news was just breaking about new COVID-19 variants across the world. We made the difficult decision to hold a set of intimate ceremonies with close family and friends to limit travel and exposure as much as possible. With all the uncertainty around the virus, we weren't sure when it would be safe to gather with everyone in person.

What if I have trouble logging on during the ceremony?
Answer
Please don't text or call us! We won't have our cell phones with us. We are still working with our vendor to figure out the best route to take if you experience any technical difficulties.

Will you celebrate in person after it's safe to do so?
Answer
Stay tuned! We are still waiting to see how things shake out as more people are vaccinated and things reopen. We are following guidelines from the experts and we will be waiting to plan things until they say it's safe!
