Flight
Most likely your best bet is to fly into Rome or Milan in order to catch a direct flight to Palermo. Other options include Frankfurt, Berlin, Paris or Barcelona. For arrivals in Sicily, there are other cities in Sicily that you can fly into but this will only work if you're planning on renting a car and turning it into a fun road trip. If you're wanting to fly straight to the wedding location then you want to book your flights directly to PMO airport (Palermo, Sicily). The airport is about 35 minutes away from the city center of Palermo.

For those seeking cheap tickets and wanting to turn it into a Euro trip, RyanAir has direct flights from Paris to Palermo! There are also direct flight from Frankfurt. Please let us know if you need any help with this.

While some cabs are accepting credit cards, several of them refuse them, so make sure you have a little bit of cash on hand.

We will be providing transportation to the Ceremony/Reception venue. If you prefer to go with your rental cars, then that would be great as well. There will be parking at the castle.

This is where some of my family lives. It is a beautiful city that many tourists actually come to visit the famous Cathedral that we were originally doing our church ceremony in (Plans have changed to both ceremony and reception being held at the castle). The town is located in the mountainous area where you have a beautiful view that overlooks the entire city of Palermo. You'll find many local shops and amazing architecture here.

For those wanting to stay in the city, then Palermo would be your best option. There are many different options such as shopping, Museums, visiting the catacombs, and good food! [ About 20-30 minutes from the wedding location ]

If you're looking to stay in a nice touristy area by the beach, then I would suggest Mondello beach. A lot of local shops and restaurants that are right by the crystal clear waters. It's just 15 minutes to the north of Palermo. [ About 40 minutes from the wedding location ]

Trabia is where the wedding will take place. For those who are wanting to stay by the beach and close to the evening event then this is an area that you can look for stay accommodations. I personally have never been but have heard good things about the area. [ Reception Location ]
