Dina's awesome sis-in-law/personal fountain of support, guidance, and wisdom; Deb's wife extraordinaire; and mother to two of the loves of Dina's life (Dina's beautiful nieces, Riya and Aniya). Nisha is one of the smartest (she somehow knows the answer or can come up with a solid suggestion to pretty much everything), coolest, funniest, most adventurous, and friendliest people ever! Nobody loves Chicago and all things Chicago more than Nisha does. Dina considers herself so lucky that she gets to call Nisha "sisterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!" (seriously, almost all of our conversations start like this; it never gets old!) =)
Leonard (aka "Alex") Stallings
Best Man
Marcus's big brother and best man. He has been a support system for Marcus his whole life. Marcus recently recalled that they had to mark their toys with 'M' & 'L' as children so as not stir up sibling spats (soooo cute! - yes, Dina insisted that we add this sentence in)! Alex has always been ready and steady with wisdom, guidance, deep conversations, and support for Marcus in every form; thank goodness for big brothers! Marcus is looking forward to having Alex stand by him on our wedding day.

Marcus's little sister, an ebullient light whom Dina is so excited to claim as her future sis-in-law. Marcus and Alicia have been finding ingenious ways to provide endless laughs and trouble (for everyone else) together since Alicia was born! As they've gotten older they still bring the laughs (and thankfully, less trouble) and count on each other as sounding-boards for everything life throws their way! A conversation with Alicia will always leave you with a smile on your face!

Marcus's brother-in-law (married to Marcus's little sister, Alicia), but more like a brother. Dami survived the initial "overprotective older brother" tests Marcus put him through, and Marcus and Dami have been close ever since!

Dina's college roommate for 3 years (we originally met in AP Bio at Munster High), fellow Boilermaker; Dina's other half through our first 4 years at Purdue; one of Dina's charmingly & adorably eccentric best friends! Jeannie's magnetism is....indescribable; you will notice your immediate love for her and her warmth, hilarity, and smarts instantly, but these characteristics barely scratch the surface of her spectacular personality!

This guy. .... --- --- is our most favorite goober! <3 Dina's big brother and Marcus's soon to be brother-in-law! Deb has been Dina's best-est friend and sibling nemesis since the day she was born! He has been the solver of most of Dina's problems and the most reliable rock, protector, & source of tough love her whole life! We both find him to be a touch peculiar (which totally adds to his weirdo charm! <3), but he is still super inspiring to us!

Dina's best friend of...29? ..years; the original Munster next-door- neighbor (a spectacularly perfect coincidence of proximity which was recently and briefly recreated in Chicago); mother to one of the loves of Dina's life (the handsome little prince, Felix). Liz and Dina have a lifetime of fun, ridiculous, and some not-so-wise memories together! Liz is the master of Mariokart 64 and a tea connoisseur. Liz is also mom to the most dapper doggie, Winston!
Fabian Cano

Dijita refers to Fabian as her "BFF" (pronounced "biff") and as her adopted big brother. Fabian and Dijita originally met as coworkers when Dijita relocated to Texas for work (Fabian volunteered to mentor Dijita and took her under his wing) and the two were quick to bond over "dad jokes," food, fitness, and shared eccentricities! Fabian and his beautiful wife, Sabrina, are parents to twin baseball superstars! Dijita considers Fabian and his family to be one of the friendliest, most loving, fun, exemplary families ever (and she's basically forced them to adopt her as a family member)!
Nisha Morgan

an honorary Sundi sister (she is truly like Dina's big sister), and one of the warmest, wisest, classiest, smartest, and kindest people you will ever meet! Nisha is also momma to one of the world's cutest dogs, Grits! Dina and Marcus are trying to convince Nisha and her husband, Ryan, to bring Grits to the wedding, but if he doesn't make it, definitely ask to see a pic (trust us, you're not ready for this cuteness)!
Kenny Grigsby

Marcus's cousin and son to another close aunt (Auntie Shirley - maternal aunt). Kenny has looked after Marcus and his siblings since they were small. Marcus always looked up to him as a kid and wished he would one day grow as tall as him (unfortunately, Marcus missed the mark)! Although the height didn't fall in Marcus's favor, having him present and always having him be someone to (literally and figuratively) look up to has always been appreciated!

An instant best friend since Dina and Renee sat next to each other in 7th grade Spanish class! Renee has been keeping it real and grounding Dina since the day they met! She's just so freaking legit (and hilarious). Renee's unsurpassed authenticity is a trademark of her personality! Renee and Dina have shared over half their lives as best friends and have shared interests in travelling, music, talking for far too long (but never long enough!) when they get a chance to catch up (or all throughout class in middle school and high school). Renee is mom to a cutie-patootie dog named Nala!

Marcus's cousin and son of one of his closets aunts, (late) Auntie Georgia. He always has been a positive role model and Marcus aspires to be as classy of a dresser as he is. He has offered Marcus countless advice in life and has welcomed Dina with a warm smile whenever he has seen her!

Dijita's P.I.C. (partner-in-crime); a fellow Boilermaker and engineering sister (they have been inseparable since Statics class early in their undergraduate engineering program); and one of Dijita's best friends ("family" is a far more accurate term)! Stephanie is the most loyal, solid, kind friend/spirit sister/P.I.C. anyone could ask for! Fun facts about Steph: 1) She is mom to a cat named Noodle; his name suits his personality perfectly, and 2) Steph is a mastermind when it comes to woodworking!

Bula used to paint Baby Dina's nails and do her hair! Of course, Bula gifted pre-teen Dina her first REAL make-up kit and has been sharing beauty (and more importantly, life) wisdom ever since!

Bunty Ba (as Dina and Marcus refer to her) is a force in a beautiful, tiny package! <3 Bunty Ba has always been one of Dina's favorite cousins; she's made every trip to India throughout Dina's (and now Marcus's) life so much brighter! She is the incredible force who is credited with coordinating, designing, finding, and working with designers and tailors to pull almost every single outfit and accessory together for our enormous bridal party, parents, siblings, and the ever-grateful bride and groom. In addition, she has been the go-to sage, support, & stylist for all things wedding! Dina and Marcus are so excited and honored that Bunty Ba traveled from India to celebrate them, and Dina is looking forward to resuming all the giggly-"girl-talk" Bunty Ba- & Dina-time is known for!

Izna is Bunty Ba's daughter and one of Dina's greatest little loves! She is already a professional actress and has perfected the art of fame, fabulous-ness, and being a decidedly delightful diva! She was Marcus's and Dina's sidekick throughout our entire 2019 trip to India! We love Izna and are soooo honored that she has traveled from India to celebrate our big day!

Riya is Dina's first niece and one of the absolute loves of her life! She is a budding fashionista and has an adorabe, spicy, and huge personality! Riya loves pretty nail polish, sparkles, pink things, cake, and asking tough questions!

Aniya (aka "Ani") is the newest and sweetest Sundi! She is Dina's niece and one of the loves of her life! One smile from Ani will melt you into a puddle! Ani loves dogs, food, learning the world around her, dancing, and saying "ta-da!"
