Who knew Mr. Pollera's 7th grade Theatre Art's class could lead to so much? On the first day of school that year I noticed there was an unfamiliar face. I quickly asked my friend who the cute new boy was, and they told me his name was LB. Little did I know, that day my life was changed forever. After we officially met, we became best friends and our friendship continued on through high school. We went to the 9th grade dance together, we took Driver's Ed together, we essentially grew up together. Until one day things changed, and we were no longer just friends. Our love continued and only grew stronger over the years. Today we are engaged and living in NYC.

February 21st, 2021 After a long day of skiing, LB told me that he booked a private table at one of the best restaurants in town that night. He told me to wear my best outfit as it was definitely our nicest dinner. Upon arrival at Pinons Restaurant, we were escorted through the back of the restaurant, through the kitchen and up the back stairs. We then arrived at this magical igloo on the rooftop overlooking the mountains. The igloo was decorated with red roses, snowflakes, candles and so much love. When we sat down we were greeted with champagne. That is when LB turned to me and told me that were not only celebrating being in Aspen. Our song started playing from the speaker, LB reached for that little blue box in his jacket and he made his way around the table. He got down on one knee and asked me if I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. To which I replied, "Of Course!".
