What Happens If I Do Not RSVP In Time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date in which we have provided (February 8th, 2024), it will be marked as a no. We will miss you celebrating with us however we will have to provide a total guest count to the venue in a timely manner that they have given us, and cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. Thank you for understanding.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! As we have a strict guest list to stay within our venues capacity, we can only accommodate those listed on your specific invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones our wedding is going to be an adults only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the weekend. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time, and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What should I wear, Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want to see you dressed to impress! The theme of the wedding is spring pastels, so please coordinate within those colors. Thank you.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We strongly recommend that you stay at Rush Creek Lodge. This is where we will be boarding the party bus and where the reception will be held. There are no other accommodations within 30 minutes.

Are there any discounts on the accommodations?

Answer

Yes! Use Promo code JONES when booking your room on the Rush Creek Lodge website. You must book by February 8th, 2024 to get this discount there is a two night minimum. https://www.rushcreeklodge.com

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue no later than 1:00PM. This will allow enough time for us to board the party bus and drive to the ceremony site. Guest arriving after 1:00PM will not make it onto the bus and will not be joining us for the ceremony.

How long does it take to get to the Lodge?

Answer

While the Lodge is typically a 3 Hours drive from Bakersfield, we encourage all guests to check their travel times prior to departing to ensure you arrive prior to the ceremony.

How long will we be on the party bus?

Answer

We expect guests to be on the party bus for approximately 1 hour to the ceremony site, and then 1 hour back to the reception. The party bus does have restrooms, lights snacks, and drinks.

Will the party bus have a restroom or food?

Answer

The party bus does have light snacks, drinks, and restrooms, although we do encourage everyone to use the restroom before boarding the bus.

Is there a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

No, there will not be a formal rehearsal dinner prior to the wedding. The Lodge will be hosting a BBQ by the Poolside event with smores and games the night before the wedding. The Lodge is charging $40 per person for this experience. Guests are responsible for their own dinner.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No, but during the plated dinner wine and beer will be provided. There will be a cash bar available during the reception.

Where should we send or bring our wedding gifts?

Answer

We are not asking for any wedding gifts, you joining us for our special day is a gift in itself. If you insist on providing a gift please donate toward our honeymoon fund.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors inside of Yosemite National Park. The reception will primarily be indoors, but may have some outdoor activities as well.
