Best Man
We sat next to each other in middle school, 6th grade to be exact. Ian did and still can fire off one-liners at a snap of a finger. He did just that in class and I got to laughing. He then realized that I had 3 missing teeth, which no one really knew since I just recently had them knocked out on a spring break trip. After explaining what happened, Ian thought it was "cool", from then on we have been close.

Being a firefighter is something I have always dreamed of. Joining the fire recruit class in 2016 was fulfilling, but I never felt I was able to do what I truely wanted at the time, that was be a member of a Fire Department in NKY. That came true when Dick came up to me during class as an instructor and said, "I talked to the membership and the Chief, you have an open spot at Crescent Springs Fire Department, if you want it." It took a couple weeks, after graduation, I joined Crescent Springs Fire Department and Dick took me under his wing. Since that day, we have fought plenty of fires together, fished, and drank many adult beverages.
Groomsman
When I was younger Brandon was always the annoying cousin, because he always wanted to hang out with me and his older brother. We never let him upp until Brandon was about 16, then he came around with us more. After a few years, Brandon started getting into softball with other friends, then when they needed a fill in, he called me. Now we have played numerous games of softball together, either on the same team or just filling in on one of his teams. We have became close in many aspects of life, as family and as friends.
Groomsman
I met Matt in highschool, where we played football together. He also lived near Ian, who was also on the football team. When I was at Ian's, many of us would go outside and play basketball or football. During bad weather day's we would spend time together on gaming consols. When Matt graduated highschool, his dream was to move back to Louisiana and attend LSU, which he did. Since, Matt and I couldn't hang out much, I felt that I needed to take a trip to Louisiana to spend some time with him. Now, Matt is back in NKY and it's like we didn't miss a beat with him being at LSU for a few years.

Dalton and I were always together growing up, if we weren't together, something was wrong, many would say. We would spend endless nights playing video games until my Dad got up for work. We now spend time together drinking beer or watching the Bengals game, or even attending the games. We may not hang out much now, but I know family is always there for one another.
Groomsman
Michael and I met through Michael's wife, Malia. Malia and I were close in college, having the same classes and studying the same major. Then there is Michael, Michael and I can talk about anything under the sun, but most of the time it is sports, even better, UK. We also played basketball together for a few years, where we really became friends. Now the 4 of us, Michael & Malia, Amber & I, hang out quite often or try to, but even if we don't I know Michael and I will always be in contact and friends.
Matron of Honor
I met Brittney playing softball as a kid. We grew up as friends until she moved away to a different school and we lost contact. That is where social media became a blessing in disguise. I did not join Facebook for a long time, but we were able to keep in touch once I did. It wasn't too long before we were hanging out again and I would go over and stay at her house almost every weeked. Now, I'm the one who moved away but we always make time for each other when I go up to Michigan to visit friends and family.
Bridesmaid
Brittany was one of my best friends when we were younger until we went our seperate ways for a few years as we became friends with different groups of people. We played almost every sport together and pretty much have the same attitude so we eventually started hanging out again. Brittany is bascially like a sister to me and inseperable in a way even though we are miles apart.
Bridesmaid
When I first moved to Kentucky, I did not know anyone. I started my first job here where I got to meet Colleen. We both started in the data entry department, then ended up moving to billing before I left for a new job. Even though we no longer work together, she has easily become one of my closest friends and we talk pretty much everyday.
Bridesmaid
Brittany is another old co-worker of mine from my first job in Kentucky. She is funny and easy to get along with so I bonded with her through work and hanging out with Colleen. We have shared a lot of laughs and I am sure there's plenty more to come!
Bridesmaid
I met Malia by becoming friends at work with her sister, Ashley. Ashley was the first friend I made there and the two of them set Nathan up with me. They both are a huge part of our lives, but we get to see and hang out with Malia and her husband, Michael more. We have become good friends over the years of us being together.
Bridesmaid
Monica is Nathan's sister making her my future sister-in-law. We did not really talk or hangout much until the last several months and now we have gotten closer so hopefully our friendship continues to grow. Family is important to us and we wanted to include her in our special day!
Bridesmaid
From the moment she was born, I knew that I wanted her to be a part of my big day. She grew up faster than I could have a wedding with her as my flower girl, so instead she is a Junior Bridesmaid. I have known her parents for a long time and they are like family to me. They are all special to me and I couldn't imagine life without them!
Ring Bearer
Hayden is Ian's oldest son. We wanted the kids of our Best Man and Matron of Honor to have a roll as well so this was an easy decision. Hayden has grown up before our eyes, even though we haven't been able to see him in person as much as we would like.
Flower Girl
Emma is a little bit sweet and a lot of sassy just like her Mom, Brittney. She is the daughter of the Matron of Honor and does not see me enough to like me until I harass her for at least 30 minutes. Eventually, we become buds until I have to leave again and don't see her for several months. Then, the process starts all over!
Usher
Marcus is the brother of the Bride. As we grew up, we grew apart and then back together. We fought constantly thoughout school until we moved out of our parents house and I moved several miles away. He begs for me to come back now which is ironic considering how much we never wanted to be around each other before. I wanted to make sure he was apart of our day and he will suit this position well.
Usher
Joey is Monica's boyfriend. Ever since they started dating, he has fit right in and is easy to talk to so he has quickly become one of my friends.
