Nope! We will still get married February 27th, 2021! As much as we’d love to see your smiling face, we respect that it is up to your discretion to attend, and we want you to do what makes you feel most comfortable.
We'll have red, yellow and green wristbands that you can wear to signal the distance you'd like other people to give you. Red means you're socially distancing as much as possible (no hugs, shaking hands, 6 feet apart, etc.), yellow means you're okay with bumping elbows as a greeting (instead of shaking hands or hugging) and conversation with reasonable distance is fine, green means hug me, let's shake hands, etc. We hope this system offers an obvious signal so that everyone can respect the distance and boundaries that helps people feel most comfortable. Wear a mask at your discretion. Stephen's grandparents are over the age of 90, and they plan to attend if they get vaccinated. Regardless of vaccination however, keep in mind that although you feel healthy, there may be individuals who are more vulnerable to getting sick than you. Let's be respectful of each other's space, sanitize, and take a look at recommendations below.
1. Please do not come if you’re sick. We love you, just not your germs. 2. If feasible, get tested shortly before the wedding and then social distance (no point in testing if you’re going out to bars and parties after haha). 3. Get your flu shot.* 4. Get the COVID vaccine (again, if feasible).** All that said, we understand these are crazy times, and we respect your decision to determine what’s safest for your health. We’ll love you the same regardless of your decision, we’ll just miss you! * https://www.jabfm.org/sites/default/files/COVID_20-0528.pdf * https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.10.14.20212498v1.full-text ** https://www.chop.edu/centers-programs/vaccine-education-center/making-vaccines/prevent-covid

All outdoors - ceremony and reception! In February, the average temperature in Arizona is usually around a high of 70 and a low of 50.
Generally patio/garden-like atmosphere. Even concrete/brick ground that is wheelchair accessible; you won't be walking on dust or dirt.
