The Cabins

The Wedding Website of Megan Murphy and Patrick Dierkes
The camp and cabins are rustic, so we thought we'd give you some idea of what to expect!
Question

What do I need to bring?

Answer

You should bring bedding including a pillow, sheets, and a blanket (or a sleeping bag). Also bring a flashlight or headlamp and a towel if you'll want to shower there.

Question

Are there bathrooms?

Answer

Each separate "village" has 5 cabins and a central shower house. So, there are bathrooms available, but not in the same building that you'll sleep in.

Question

Can I just sleep in my tent?

Answer

Unfortunately, Cuivre River State Park will not allow us to set up tents in the group camp area.

Question

Will beds be assigned?

Answer

When people RSVP as sleeping over, we will ask whether you'd prefer to be in a "quiet" area that will be more suitable for families with kids and will be further from the party. From that, we will ensure that we have enough beds available for everyone wanting to stay. We won't reserve/assign beds beyond making sure we have enough!
