Information About Lodging
Airbnb/VRBO - If you're traveling with family or looking forward to meeting up with some old friends, consider an "authentic" Minneapolis lodging experience. Things will likely be happening in our Northeast neighborhood, nearby areas include: St. Anthony, Lauderdale, Columbia Heights, and Roseville. Hotels - Hotels will be a good option for smaller groups and families and can provide a range of experiences. Downtown hotels can offer more comfort and amenities where other areas will provide more affordability. Some favorite downtown Minneapolis hotel experiences would be the Hewing Hotel (boutique,) Four Seasons (luxury,) and Nicollet Island Inn (unique.) Best options for affordability will be in the Lauderdale/Roseville area: Delta Hotels Minneapolis (nearby to party venue,) Double Tree, Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Courtyard, etc. All of the areas mentioned should be within a 10-15 minute rideshare distance!

Information About Transportation
The MSP airport will offer the most convenient rental car company options, as well as standard pickup options for Turo rentals (think airbnb but for cars.) There is also access to light rail transit (blue line) from the airport into downtown. HOWEVER, the light rail does not go as far as the Northeast neighborhood. For those who are not renting cars and relying on Uber/Lyft, the light rail could be a budget-friendly way to get into the city from the airport, but you'll need to Uber/Lyft or connect with a friend with a car to get across the river! We're hoping to coordinate couple of volunteers to help with airport and miscellaneous rides throughout the weekend so if you are planning to spend the weekend without independent transportation (or if you don't have a smart phone to manage rideshare apps) please don't hesitate to reach out to Mitch and I ahead of time!

The Duration of Your Stay
If you are visiting, and coming into town on Saturday or staying through Monday/Tuesday, please let us know! We are coordinating some very casual hangs for bonus quality time together and would love to include you!
