We went to high school together but never really talked to each other. After graduation, we went to live in different cities and reconnected four years later in our hometown. On our first date, we went to the Phoenix Symphony and arrived fashionably late (we couldn't find the entrance) and were sat at the top until intermission. We ended up enjoying those seats more than our paid seats!
We were at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City in a beautiful religious art gallery when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. After saying yes, I told him I always dreamt my future husband would propose in a museum or at a symphony concert.
Due to COVID-19, this will be our third attempt at getting our dream wedding together. We originally had our big day set for March 2020 but sadly had to postpone. We scrambled to get it rescheduled for March 2021, only to postpone it once again. We wanted our family and friends to feel safe, so we felt it necessary to reschedule one last time. #ThirdTimesACharm describes our wedding perfectly, and there'd be no better way to spend it than with all family and friends!
