Once upon a time...We got married!

Io e Linlin ci siamo conosciuti sui banchi di "scuola" ... un classico vero? Io ero appena arrivato a New York (confuso per il fuso orario e il rumore incessante di sirene), Lei era da poco tornata nella citta' dove aveva studiato per molti anni. Il giorno del nostro primo incontro Linlin era in ritardo per la lezione e si era seduta sull'unica sedia rimasta libera in seconda fila, a fianco a me. Tempo 5 minuti, scopriamo che i nostri appartamenti distano 100 metri l'uno dall'altro! Io mi oriento ancora a fatica in metropolitana ...quindi Linlin si offre di accompagnarmi a casa...

Diego's version: July 4th 2016, NYC ... Forty people in a room, the fire brigade covers the voice of the teacher introducing the course. It is the first day of a 12 weeks bootcamp and Diego was sitting by himself, still looking jet-lagged and confused. Linlin...well, She was not there! Was it the train being delayed? Had she stopped by a coffee shop to grab breakfast? We will never know, but that morning she entered the class too late and there was hardly any place left! Debating whether to sit in the back row or to squeeze into the second row, She ended up sitting next to some weird "European" guy...and guess what? They found out they were neighbors! Linlin's version: July 5th, 2016, I woke up very early. It was the first day of the bootcamp, and nobody knew what was going to happen. Subway was packed as usual, and I managed to be late despite of leaving early. Consequences? The classroom was full with only the back section open, except for a spot on the second row occupied by bags that belongs to a guy who later declared to me that "He's from Europe". All that was on my mind was that this person must never been out of Europe to make such a weird introduction! Long story short, he moved his bag so that we sat next to each other, and we found out later that day that we also lived within two blocks away from each other!
