Hinge says it's the app "designed to be deleted," when Julia and Diego met, they couldn't delete it fast enough! They met for drinks at Harwood Arms in June of 2022. Right away, they both felt they had something special. Julia liked Diego's lively laugh, and Diego fell for her bubbly personality and sassy smile. They shared a common love for telling funny stories, good food, adventure of all kinds, and an optimistic outlook on life. By the end of the summer, Diego asked Julia to be his girlfriend. He's lucky he asked when he did; Julia was growing impatient and had a playlist of songs like "Give Me That Title" or "Take a Chance on Me" ready for our next road trip. In the following months, we spent lots of time trying new restaurants (sushi is our favorite), getting ice cream, going on long walks, road trips, concerts, cooking together, afternoons at the Arboretum, and a few trips to Spain to meet Diego's family and see where he grew up! Over time, we shared our love for God, learned about each other's goals and dreams, and got to know each other's friends and family. It didn't take long for both of us to know - life was much better together! We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with you in September!
