One of the most touristic areas in Puerto Rico. This has nice bars and restaurants to eat at and its located next to the beach. This is where Isabel and Diego first became BF, GF and got engaged. There are plenty of Airbnb and hotels located here as well.
There are many things to do in El Viejo San Juan like looking at the looking at the old architecture and open shops with small things to take back home as souvenirs. Its a nice place to spend a couple of hours that also include nice bars and restaurants to experience the food culture in PR. If you want to take in the whole experience, there are tours that will teach you the history of San Juan.
Also, in El Viejo San Juan is one of Puerto Rico's most viewed locations. Here you can get some Piraguas (shaved ice with syrups), You can buy a Chiringa (kite) and spend the day with one of the best views of PR. Take in some of the nice winds a weather and you could also make a little picnic out of it. This can be included as a day trip as the same stores, bars and restaurants are walking distances from El Viejo San Juan.
This is where Diego Was born and raised in Caguas Puerto Rico. If you want to see where Diego grew up, you can visit the Plaza de Caguas where you can find nice food and bars located just a couple of blocks from the plaza. But there is a nice merry go round and Diego's Favorite Ice cream shop. I always recommend getting Coco (coconut), Tamarindo (Tamarind) and Parcha (Passion fruit), but all of them are good.
