Christine and Diego first crossed paths on December 7th, 2022, and from that very first conversation, something just clicked. What was meant to be a simple first date at Maria’s in Fort Worth turned into an eight-hour marathon of talking, laughing, and losing track of time until 2 a.m. By the end of the night, they both knew they had found something special. From that moment forward, life together moved in the best kind of blur. They celebrated graduations and new jobs, cheered each other on through exciting milestones, and held each other close through painful losses and life-changing decisions. They traveled often—nine vacations and counting—built a life with three beloved pets (and mourned one deeply missed companion), navigated two career changes, and collected more date nights, movies, thoughtful gifts, and shared laughter than they could ever begin to count. After nearly three years of choosing each other every day, Diego planned the surprise of a lifetime. On September 5th, 2025, on the breathtaking island of Maui, he got down on one knee and asked Christine to marry him. And she said yes. Now, they can’t wait to begin the next chapter - hand in hand, heart to heart, ready for all the adventures still to come.
