A favorite city of ours in Scotland. We recommend at spending at least a couple of days here! The city is very walk-able and easy to navigate. Some things to do: -Edinburgh Castle (pictured above) -St. Giles Cathedral -Explore the Royal Mile -Explore Princes Street Gardens -National Museum of Scotland -Scottish National Gallery -Edinburgh Museum of Modern Art -Have drinks or tea at The Dome -Explore the historic medieval Closes
Scotland's largest city, located on the west coast and closer to Largs. The airport a bit outside of the city center so plan a transfer. There is an underground single loop system that gives access to many of the things to do below. Some things to do: -Botanic Gardens -Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery (top recommendation from Nico) -Glasgow University -Glasgow Riverside Museum - there is a boat that runs from here to Largs but timing and availability is limited -Glasgow Cathedral and Necropolis - oldest house in Glasgow is next door
Largs is where we have our party! It is a small town at the Northern end of the Ayrshire Coast. Largs is accessible by train or bus. There is a bus system within Largs and plenty of taxis but it is also fairly walk able. A few things to do: -Kelburn Castle -Knock Castle -Mount Stuart -Golfing at Largs Golf Club or Routenburn Golf Club -Take a ferry to one of the surrounding towns such as Cumbrae Island or Milport
