Answer

Unfortunately, there is a limit on the guests we can invite, and cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone due to space limitations. Please refer to the guests listed on your invitation for RSVP. If you have questions or concerns about someone being missed, please reach out.

Question

When Should I RSVP?When Should I RSVP?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent out Janurary 2025, please RSVP online once you have received your invitation. Please be sure to send in your RSVP by April 23, 2025. Kindly note that any RSVPs not received by this date will be marked as "no." We want to ensure we have accurate counts for our celebration, so your timely response is greatly appreciated!

Question

Where Do We Stay?Where Do We Stay?

Answer

Guests of the soon-to-be newlyweds receive discounts on lodging throughout the resort (this means cottages, hotel rooms, condos, etc.) For convenient foot access to all amenities the resort offers, consider staying at Hotel Jay. **PSA: TramHaus is closed for May 2025 for deep cleaning and fire alarm testing. This part of the hotel will be unavailable for our wedding.** Hotel rates for 2025 have not been released yet but guests can call and place a $50- $100 deposit to hold a room until rates get released (most likely in Janurary of 2025). Our advice would be to call when booking to ensure your discount code is applied and for the correct dates! To take advantage of this discount, please call Jay Peak reservations desk at (800) 451-4449 and refer to: Group Reservation Number: 1110338

Question

What Time Is Check In and Check Out?What Time Is Check In and Check Out?

Answer

Check in is 5:00pm across the resort. Check out is at 10:00am.

Question

What Is Dress Code? What Is Dress Code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to embrace the joy of spring by wearing bright, vibrant colors fit for a semi-formal event! Think cheerful hues such as sunny yellows, fresh greens and bold pinks. Let's fill the day with color and good spirits! The only things we ask you to avoid are white dresses and bold print shirts (please no Hawaiian shirts lol). Please note that the mountaintop setting features rocky terrain, resulting in limited seating availability. For the ceremony portion, we kindly ask that you wear shoes suitable for standing and navigating rocky surfaces. The reception will take place indoors, and you can swap into heels if you prefer!

Question

Does The Venue Have Parking?Does The Venue Have Parking?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at our venue.

Question

How Do We Get Around The Resort? How Do We Get Around The Resort?

Answer

All on-resort shuttling is complimentary! Approximately 1-1.5 hours before the ceremony, Jay shuttles will begin pulling through the hotel ports to pick up guests. Guests staying in cottages or condos can dial x7777 and a shuttle will pick them up there.

Question

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Jay Peak Resort. Our wedding ceremony will take place at the peak of Jay, requiring guests to use the Tram (there is NO fee required from guests for this). The reception will be held inside in the International Room.

Question

Is it an open bar?Is it an open bar?

Answer

While we love you all, we wanted to let you know that we’re unable to offer an open bar. However, we will have some bar options available with a limit - which when hit, will then become a cash bar. Feel free to pregame a little before the event and get ready to celebrate with us after the reception for more fun!

Question

Are there any plans other than the wedding? Are there any plans other than the wedding?

Answer

We'll be in Burlington a few days before the wedding and would love to see you! We'll definitely be at Switchback Brewing on Wednesday night, a place that's very special to us. While we’re not hosting this event, we would be thrilled to see all your faces if you’re in town early! Otherwise, give us a call and let's brewery-hop Burlington!
