Maid of Honor
Mira & I met freshman year of college at Duquesne University. I knew our friendship was destined to be when she told me that her dad was from New Kensington. From then on, we became inseparable and lived together sophomore and junior year. I don't know how I would have survived college, and now wedding planning, without her.
Best Man
Noah and I have been close ever since the first day Allie and I began dating, and we do almost everything together. You can often find us playing 18 holes on the weekend or watching one of Ben's games. One of my favorite memories of Noah is when he came down to visit Allie and I at college. He woke up the next morning claiming he had alcohol poisoning. If you know, you know.
Bridesmaid
Marissa and I were friends long before Vinny came into the picture. Our friendship began my freshman year of high school when Marissa took me under her wing at our volleyball preseason workouts. Who would have thought that in a few years she'd become my sister and one of my closest friends.
Groomsman
Benny was only in 5th grade when I first met him. I always sympathized with Ben, as he was the youngest sibling in the Aftanas household, and I was the youngest in mine. To me, he has always been the younger brother that I never had. I had the chance to watch him grow from elementary, now in to the young man he is today. I can't wait to see what his future has in store.
Bridesmaid
For the first few months that Vinny and I dated, I actually wasn't able to meet Steph, as her and Nick were still teaching overseas. When she came home at Christmas time we instantly bonded over our hate of the heat and outdoors and our love of sweet wines and the color black... and the rest is history.

Nick is my oldest sibling. And even though there is a 10 year age difference between us, I've always felt very close to him. I still remember when I scored my first touchdown, in AR-KEN football, hearing Nick scream from the bleachers "Go Vinny!" Our relationship became even closer when Nick asked me to be Leona's godfather. That was a day I'll never forget.
Bridesmaid
"Meghaleg" as she's know in the DiCarolis family is the most down to earth person you will meet. We are often caught talking for hours and sipping a nice glass of wine, or can of Miller, at family dinners. I knew that Meghan really trusted me when she let me find out the gender of her new baby days before everyone else. That was the BEST surprise I've ever been apart of. I am so excited to gain a new nephew in July and see Meghan become a mom! I love seeing our families move through new stages of life.
Groomsman
Dante is always the one extending a helping hand within the family and among his friends. I truly admire how caring he is and try to replicate that trait in my day-to-day life. He is also known for throwing some great house parties. Some of my favorite memories with Dante are at one of his parties or at the Blind Pig with the rest of the Cooper clan. He also knows his way around a smoker so if you get on his good side, he might give you some ribs and brisket.
Bridesmaid
Becca is the coolest. Always on point with the trendiest fashion, home decor, and cocktails of course. My favorite memory with Becca is an early one - At a family wedding, after I had just graduated high school, Becca pulled me into the bathroom and handed me a large drink from the bar. Her exact words were "Chug! This is what girlfriends do for each other." Our relationship from there is very similar. We always have a fun time together.
Groomsman
Anthony is the self-proclaimed “athlete” of the family. However, growing up it was more common to find Anthony in a cast than on the field! While Anthony is a band-aid, he is also a great competitor. I always tried to emulate his playing style growing up, constantly taking mental notes while watching his Friday night games. He has always been a great mentor to me in that regard and still gives me tips on how to fix my slice, although his advice doesn’t seem to work for that. You also never have to worry about a dull conversation with Anthony. He can talk about anything and find a way to make you laugh about it.
Bridesmaid
Jordan and I grew up more like sisters than first cousins. She was at every prom and formal doing my hair and makeup and helping me to pick out a dress. I so admire Jordan for the fact that she "tells it like it is." We grew up together. Many of the childhood memories that I have include Jordan right there at my side. It was an honor to be her bridesmaid a few years ago, and I couldn't wait to ask her to be mine last year.
Groomsman
I first met Nick my freshman year of college attending Pitt Greensburg. We had almost every single class together throughout all of college. During our four years at Pitt, our friendship grew. My favorite times at school were at Nick's house in South Oakland spending the weekends having a few drinks and a good time with our friends.
Flower Girl
The smartest 4 year old you will ever meet. Neither one of us had ever even held a newborn until Leona was born. We have so loved to watch her grow up in to her spunky and sassy self. There is no doubt in our minds that Leona will be leading the way for the other children at our wedding. She will always be the one that made us Uncle Vinny & Titi Allie.
Ring Bearer
Lorenzo is our nephew! Give this guy some Mickey Mouse and a pack of fruit snacks and he'll do whatever you ask. Allie and I have loved watching Lorenzo grow up into the big boy that he is now. His favorite activities include listening to Spotify and being spun in circles until everyone but him are dizzy. We cannot wait to see him walk down the aisle.
Flower Girl
Our second niece, Lourdes is the most chill and laid back baby. She is used to the chaos. We could kiss her chubby cheeks all day. Vinny and I are betting on whether or not Lourdes will be able to walk down the aisle at our wedding. It is so fun to watch her just sit back and take in the craziness that is the DiCarolis family.
Ring Bearer
Fearless is an understatement. Greyson will do whatever he can to make you flinch while watching him play. Whether it's going down the slide face first or just diving head first in to the couch. Allie and I are constantly laughing when we are with him. Our favorite memory with Greyson is probably this past Easter when Allie taught him to "cheers" his drink. He is so smart and does it constantly now!
