Our grandmothers grew up in the same church but it all started with our parents connection. Our grandmothers were really good friends so then our mothers became really close friends before they married our dads and our dads were from the same small hometown. Therefore, we’ve known each other from a very, very young age. In 2019, our hearts rekindled from a small childhood crush that would grow into a love for a lifetime. Jesus is what ultimately led our reconnection at an older age. God destined us to be together from the beginning and we plan to have Him be the third party in our union evermore. #TylerTimesTwo speaks to the commitment each of us have towards each other and the commitment of two it will take to make this love last forever. Patrick and I had known each other all our lives but little did I know, he was on a mission! Not only did he respond to my curiosity he also asked me on a sushi date. Turned out, we had our first date at Yesterday’s restaurant downtown Columbia off of Devine St and went bowling afterwards. The rest is history. I'll never forget how tight he held me and how supportive he was when I found out my Papa had passed. The security and safety I felt in his arms was indescribable. I know that his relationship with God was real, that he was goal-minded and that he cared for me, really.
