We're getting married!

"In 2016, I embarked on a cross-country journey form Portland to Chicago to attend graduate school. On the first day of my second year, I was giving a welcome presentation to the new class of students when I was stopped dead in my tracks upon first gaze of Diba, who was in the audience as a first year student. After my heart calmed down, I decided that I had to meet her, and so I did. I found out she was going to a halloween party with some shared colleagues, and I made sure I was on the guest list. At the party, I asked her to the rooftop to check out the city views. We talked and laughed all night...and the rest is history!" -Robert

"One of my lifetime dreams was to visit the countryside of Spain. That became a reality this summer as Robert and I went on a Europe trip to Barcelona, Paris, and London. On our 4th day in Spain, we went to Roses, Catalonia where we had an amazing Paella lunch on the Mediterranean Sea. At sunset, Robert took me to a private cove off the coast and asked me to be his wife. Not only had my travel dreams come true, but I committed to the man of my dreams.
