Travel Note
A ferry is available from Portsmouth or Plymouth to Santander. The journey takes approximately 24 hours, followed by around a 2-hour drive from Santander to Gijón.
Flight
There are direct flights from London to Asturias Airport (OVD), making it easy for our UK guests to join us. Vueling (in partnership with British Airways) currently operates direct flights from London Gatwick South Terminal to Asturias. However, these flights will not operate between October and March. The good news is that Wizz Air has announced a new direct route between London Luton and Asturias, starting in October 2026 and continuing throughout the summer season. At the moment, it has not been confirmed whether Vueling will resume its Gatwick–Asturias service after March 2027, so we'll keep this page updated as soon as we know more. As always, we recommend booking flights as early as possible to secure the best prices.
