Advice

If you're flying into town, we strongly recommend Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) instead of Los Angeles (LAX) or any of the other local airports (ONT, LGB, or SNA). Between traffic and the airport crowds, flying in or out of BUR will save about 2-4 hours each way versus LAX.

Hotel

Recommendations

There is a wide range of hotel and private rental options in northern Los Angeles and we would be happy to help you narrow down the choices. For hotels, we recommend staying near Burbank, the Northridge/Porter Ranch/Chatsworth area, or Santa Clarita.

Rental Car

Los Angeles has notoriously poor public transportation, so we encourage guests to either rent a vehicle or be prepared to use rideshare services for personal transportation. Traffic can be heavy during weekdays from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
