Ariel is my built in-sister or some might say twin. At a young age I once told Ariel she was a bad influence (which has become a running inside joke between us), but truthfully, I’ve always looked up to her. As we’ve grown, we're more alike than I ever imagined, than when I first said she was a bad influence at age 12. She's incredibly caring, always there for me, and shares advice the way a big sister would. At any family function you can find us sitting next to each other laughing with a glass of wine in hand. You're not just my cousin, but also a sister in every possible way.

I couldn’t be happier to have my brother as my best man. He may be younger, but growing up, I always looked forward to kicking his ass in basketball, ping pong, floor hockey and just about every sport we could play. But beyond the competition, he's always been passionate, caring, and the kind of person who shows up for his family no matter what. I’m proud of the man he’s become, and even more proud to have him by my side today.

I first met Ana, my now sister-in-law when I turned 21 at a club in Schaumburg. I know- Ana at a club!? From the moment I met her she was so kind and that's exactly who Ana is. She's kind, loving and an incredible mother! And thank goodness I’m not the only one in the family with a sweet tooth! I’m so grateful to have Ana stand by my side on my big day.

Eric, from the start, you made me feel like part of the family, and I can’t tell you how much that’s meant to me. It’s been awesome seeing the life you’ve built—the way you lead with love as a husband to Ana and a father to Sofia says everything about the kind of man you are. I’m beyond excited to officially call you my brother-in-law, and even more excited for everything ahead. And don’t worry—we are getting you to break 90 on the golf course this year. Let’s go!

Rosa and I have known each other for a long time but, it wasn't until our college years at ISU that we truly became best friends. Rosa is my Latina twin! I can always count on Rosa to listen to Spanish music with me on repeat, and we’ll forever be sipping spicy margaritas together. Rosa is such an incredible friend, and I’m beyond excited that we get to stand by each other’s side this year at each of our weddings.

Trevor, you’ve been an incredible friend over the years. Olivia always gives me a hard time about how often we talk throughout the day—but honestly, it just feels good to have someone I can talk shop with, vent to, and bounce ideas off of, anytime. Over these last four years, we’ve grown really close, and I’m genuinely honored to have you standing by my side on such an important day. You’re an amazing husband to Trish, a dedicated family man, and someone I truly look up to. I’m lucky to have you in my life—and even luckier to call you a brother and a friend.

Jordan is a long-time friend of mine ever since we met on the high school cheerleading team. From early morning cheer competitions to fun nights out during college visits, we’ve shared so many memories over the years. Two big attitudes and a few headbutts later, our friendship has been going strong for 10 years! Although we may be many miles apart now, each time we catch up it feels like no time has passed at all. Her friendship is one I will always cherish.

Ever since Brendan and I have been together, Jenna and I have developed a close friendship. I always enjoy our time together, whether we’re traveling together to Utah, having a girls’ night out in Chicago, or simply just having game night with the boys. She's so thoughtful—whether she's crocheting something for our apartment or printing our engagement photos, everything she does feels personal and full of love. Jenna is so fun to be around and with a house full of boys at the Burgess household I'm grateful to have my girl time with Jenna.

Mike, growing up just a block away, you were like family. We were always causing chaos together—sometimes you were a menace, but you always fit right in with the older crowd. What stands out about you is how down-to-earth and genuine you are. You’ve got a huge heart, and you care about everyone. And honestly, you’re still the only guy I can talk to about dirt bikes, fireworks, watersports—basically anything that might land us in the ER. I’m pumped to have you by my side. Let’s make it an unforgettable night—and try not to light anything on fire... at least not until the reception.

Ashtyn and I met just about 3 years ago in Chicago, and we've been inseparable ever since. We’ve done it all—lake days, concerts, rooftop hangs, wild nights out, and unforgettable dinners all over the city. Living in Chicago wouldn’t have been the same without her. She’s effortlessly hilarious—whether she's doing her spot-on Britney Spears impression or just being her naturally funny self. We always have the best time together, and I couldn’t be more excited to have her by my side.

Matt, I’m proud to call you one of my best friends. You’re as down-to-earth as they come—and even though most of your jokes are absolutely terrible, I wouldn’t want it any other way. You still haven’t managed to beat me consistently in golf, but hey, I’ll show you a thing or two after the wedding. For real though, I’m genuinely grateful to have you in my life.
