We met freshmen year of college at Saint Edwards University where we just happened to live on the same floor of our co-ed dorm room building. Hanging out through mutual friends; we then became best friends - supporting each other during the ups and downs of college life. Little did we know that we would end up having a spark for each other. After a year and a half of playing hard to get games, we finally caved in and decided that it was time to accept our feelings and let go of the fear of being more than just best friends.

After a long flight back from a business trip in Argentina, I was waiting to pick her up from the airport to start what was the beginning of a special weekend. Jet lagged as can be, she accepted to go to the Dallas Arboretum where we met her sister Raquel and boyfriend Jared. Yes; there is where I popped the question!! (Don't ask me what I said because I don't remember!) After some happy tears, laughs and millions of pictures we went to brunch at Gloria's. However, little did she know that another surprise awaited inside... our parents!
