We met in spring 2011 during Jenna's study abroad semester in Dublin, Ireland, where we both attended University College Dublin. We spent an amazing semester together and knew our adventure wasn't meant to end, so after Jenna graduated from Bucknell in 2012, she moved back to Ireland. After five years of living in the Irish capital, Jenna finally convinced Diarmid to move to the United States. We currently reside in New York City.

On a cold, wet and windy Irish day (read: typical Irish winter weather) we took the train out to one of our favorite spots outside of Dublin: Powerscourt Gardens in Co. Wicklow. Following a day of relaxation at the spa, Diarmid got down on one knee and popped the question! Jenna of course said yes (but in her head was thinking, "finally!") and we spent the evening celebrating as any good Irish couple would, with a drink in hand! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. Special thanks to everyone who has travelled from far away to be with us.
