Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. For men, we recommend a suit with a shirt and tie. Women are welcome to wear a floor-length gown, knee-length cocktail dress, a pantsuit, or dressy separates. Please prioritize comfort, as the weather is expected to be quite hot.

What accommodations are available for guests?

We understand that many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us for our special day. To ensure your comfort, we've arranged room blocks at several nearby hotels. Please refer to your wedding invitation to confirm the number of seats reserved for you. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to reach out to Dianne or Julien.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:30 PM, so please feel free to arrive around 6:15 PM. We kindly suggest arriving no earlier than 6:00 PM to ensure a smooth start.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors followed by the reception indoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Although we can't control the weather, we want to let you know that August in Georgia tends to be very warm and humid. Rest assured, we'll be taking every step to keep our guests cool and comfortable!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Flint Hill offers plenty of on-site parking, but feel free to carpool. The venue is just a 10-minute drive from the hotels listed.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet-style, offering plenty of options. If you have any food allergies, please let Dianne or Julien know, and we'll be happy to accommodate you.
