June 25, 2014 It was a warm Wednesday evening. It was just 2 days from the international Assembly, and they both had the privilege of being part of a delegate night, where you meet other brothers and sisters from other countries, share experiences of field service, get to see amazing talent from the local Congregation, and OF COURSE Eat TONS of food. As the night was coming to a close, as strangers they exchanged glances but awkwardly looked away to not make it obvious they were looking at each other. It wasn't until Marvin's older sister, Yany with her bubbly personality introduced them. Of course as a formality they shook hands and smiled at each other, and in that moment something happened...They had no idea what it was, but it definitely brought them together a few years later... * 3 Years Later * After a friendship began flourishing, both of them realized that the feelings they had for each other went above and beyond. They began to understand the immediate connection they had on the night they met. And being Just Friends wasn't enough anymore. After colliding in many other events by pure coincidence Marvin decided to step up. They went to the Auto Show with some friends and were able to see that they enjoyed being In each others company and that night he said the words, "Im going to Change your last name"... Fast Forward to October 10, 2020... Marvin got down on One Knee And Diana Said "FINALLY!" And just like that, despite all the obstacles, And overall with Jehovahs help they are about to enter the Next Chapter in their lives. And Diana will definitely have a different last Name. :)
