We had both just moved across the country to a state we never imagined we'd live in. We went to a get together at someone's apartment who we just met. Neither of us wanted to be there. Dian was about to leave as I arrived and we introduced ourselves to each other. In that moment we instantly connected. Over the next six months Dian hitched rides with me and from there we developed a friendship. After being best friends for six months (if you know you know) we confessed our feelings for each other- and the rest is history.

It was Eden's birthday and I had been planning this for months. Eden always wanted to do a photoshoot with us and I had kept telling her no (knowing that I would surprise her with this on the day I proposed). We did so many things for her birthday and it was coming to the end of the day, so at this point, she was thrown off to the idea of me proposing. We went to Usery Mountain Regional Park and we were getting our photos taken. At one point, the photographer calls Eden up in front of me and tells her to look out into the distance. As she did that, my friend handed me the ring and I knelt down on a rock and had to move over because it hurt really bad and once I recovered from that pain I said, "Hey Eden" and she turned around and started crying. I stumbled over my words and eventually asked her to marry me. She kissed me, but didn't give me a direct answer so I asked again and I finally convinced her to say yes!
