FAQs

The Wedding Website of Diana Capellupo and Victor Silva
If you have any questions at this time other than what is listed here, please reach out to Diana or Victor. We welcome hearing from you!
Question

Where is the wedding venue located?

Answer

The venue is located at Sunset Point Camp at 2 10th Street Hull, MA 02045. You may find a secondary address on google (138 Edgewater Road); they'll both get you to the same place! It is across from Hull's bay.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our celebration will begin promptly at 5:00 in the evening. We recommend you aim to arrive around 4:45pm to account for beach traffic, time to park, and make your way over to the camp.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Guests can park along the side of Nantasket Road, which is adjacent to the Sunset Point Camp on 10th Street. Please be sure not to block any resident's driveways or pull onto any resident's lawn.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

We do not have pre-arranged transportation. If you wish not to drive, we recommend using Uber or Lyft apps and reserving your trips ahead of time. Ubers are available, however not as readily available as if you were in the city. If you have a little too much fun, please leave your car and get an Uber or Lyft home! Come back in the morning :)

Question

Are the wedding festivities inside or outside?

Answer

Short answer, both! The cocktail hour portion of the reception will take place outdoors on a grassy courtyard as well as a covered porch area. Cocktail hour will bleed into the reception which will have unassigned seating areas, music, live band, and dancing indoors. Guests can freely move about outside and inside throughout the event!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love for family and friends to dress up with us! We encourage everyone to dress in semi-formal summer attire in what feels celebratory and comfortable for you. For the ladies consider dresses in lightweight breathable fabrics, encouraging freedom with vibrant colors, playful patterns and textures or fun embellishments! For the men, consider summer festive styled with breezy and breathable options. Examples include tailored chinos or linen pants. Cotton dress shirts or linen button down. Festive colors or patterns welcome! Ties are optional. No jeans please. Guests are welcome to bring a change of shoes if they want to make for comfy toes. No judgement there!

Question

What is the food situation?

Answer

There will be a ton of Brazilian infused appetizers and open bar to enjoy, catered by Kasa. Nor'Easter Pizza Co.'s food truck will serve pizza flavors, and Kika's homemade sweets will offer desserts! There is no formal sit-down dinner service.

Question

How far ahead of time should I book my hotel / air b n b?

Answer

Please check out the Travel section on the website for closest hotels to the venue. We recommend you book your stay as soon as possible. June is part of peak season for summer travel and weddings. The FIFA world cup games will also be occurring during this time, which will draw more people to pursue travel stays and/or hotel rate increases.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We absolutely love our guests and their families. However, we have elected to cater our ceremony and reception to a primarily adult atmosphere. The only children at our wedding are those in the wedding party and limited family.
