FAQs

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we love all your kids, our venue has limited capacity. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children and extra guests at the ceremony and reception.

Question

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

We carefully and painstakingly combed through our guest list to invite all those we truly wish to celebrate with. Our venue has limited capacity, so we had to make some tough choices regarding who gets a plus 1. We ultimately settled on couples paired with a partner you live with/are married to. Please understand this reasoning… with a 200 person guest list, we had to have enough room for all the treasured people in our lives.

Question

How do the street cars work?

Answer

The St. Charles street car is a great way to get from Uptown to the French Quarter. They cost $3 for a one day pass with unlimited rides. However, Chicagoans beware. They do not run as efficiently/on time as the CTA in Chicago-- you're on New Orleans time now, and you'll soon find why they call it the Big Easy. You can download the New Orleans RTA app for routes and passes

Question

What is a second line?

Answer

Aka a Jazz funeral, second lines are really only supposed to be done for funeral services to honor the deceased. However, New Orleans throws a parade for basically anything, so why not second line a wedding?

Question

Do you put ketchup on hotdogs?

Answer

Absolutely not.

Question

Can I take my drink on Bourbon St?

Answer

You can take your drinks with you on any street. You just can't have open containers of alcohol in your car if you are driving. So, keep the straw wrapper on the daiquiri you just got through the drive thru
