We met like every couple seems to meet now a days - on Bumble! After a few weeks of talking we decided to finally meet in person. We met during the month of December and our first date, to me felt like something out of a movie or tv show. We met at Bryant Park Winter Village, one of my favorite places to shop for the holidays. I told him to meet me by the Christmas Tree, I would be the girl in the red scarf with the red lipstick. When I saw this tall handsome man walking towards me the butterflies immediately started. We walked for what felt like 20 minutes through the park but had actually been hours. We then proceeded to go to a nearby lounge and we closed it out as well. This was the first date that I didn't want for it to come to an end. It went so well that we went on our second date 2 days later. Our life together since has been nothing short of amazing, from wineries, weekend getaways, our France trips, and best of all the most wonderful gift of all, our bundle of joy Siena Isabella. He still gives me those butterflies and I look forward to always dating my true love.
The propsal took place in the city of love - PARIS! The day before the proposal we did a photoshoot at the Siene river and I noticed he was a little off, a little nervous, so of course my thoughts went straight to OMG he's going to propose during the shoot! But to my dismay he did not and he did confess later that he had planned to propose that day so that the photgrapher could capture BUT when he saw a handful of other couples proposing as well he decided not to do it since it wasn't going to feel special. The next night we were going to dinner and as we were getting ready he kept complaining he didn't like how his pants and blazer looked, he spent more time getting ready then I did that night which I thought was odd but after the day before I didn't think "proposal" aymore. He took me to dinner at an amazing restaurant at the Park Hyatt. After dinner he came to sit with me on my side of the booth, which was a normal thing we do (yes we're those people), and he started telling me romantic things, also something we do. He then proceeded to say, "which leads me to my next question" - my antenna went up - and he popped the question! My answer - A MILLION TIMES YES! We can't wait to celebrate our love with you all!
